2. Service Description & Customer Responsibility

Metal Card provides bespoke customization services for metal bank cards and NFC-related products.

2.1 Responsibility for Card Submission
You acknowledge that sending your bank card to Metal Card is at your own discretion and risk. Metal Card assumes no liability for any breach of agreement with your card issuer, nor for issues related to the usability of the card post-customization.

2.2 Card Ownership & Permissions
By submitting your card for customization, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal cardholder.

  • You have full authority and rights to allow modification of the card.

  • You understand your card issuer’s terms and accept any implications resulting from alteration.
    Metal Card does not verify these permissions and proceeds based solely on your declaration.

2.3 Card Freeze Recommendation
We highly recommend that you freeze or temporarily deactivate your card before sending it to us. This is an important step to avoid any unauthorized activity during transit and customization.


3. Shipping and Risk

3.1 Shipping Responsibility
You are fully responsible for safely sending your card to us. We advise using tracked and insured shipping to reduce risk. Metal Card is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage incurred during transit.

3.2 Risk of Damage During Customization
While we take every precaution during customization, Metal Card is not liable for any damage to your card’s physical or electronic components. If damage occurs, we may, at our discretion, offer to redo the customized design—but not replace the card or restore its functionality.


4. Returns & Warranty

4.1 Returns
Due to the personalized nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless there is a clear manufacturing fault in the customization.

4.2 Warranty
All customizations are covered by a 15-day workmanship warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers material or manufacturing defects related to the customization only—not the original card’s functionality.


5. Data Protection and Privacy

5.1 Information Collection
We collect only the personal data necessary to process your order (e.g., name, address, payment details). By using our services, you consent to this processing.

5.2 Data Security

6. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, branding, and trademarks on our website remain the exclusive property of SwipeMetal. You may not use or reproduce any part of our content without prior written permission.


7. Payment and Pricing

7.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Card, Amex, Pay Later, Bank Transfer, BACs, and eCheque. All payments are processed securely that are mention in store.

7.2 Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP (£). We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time without prior notice.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Metal Card will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, data, revenue, or profits.

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the customization service.

  • We are not liable for any functional failure or loss of usability of the card following customization.


9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


10. Changes to Terms

SwipeMetal may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
